AERIFICATION A SUCCESS!

Cooler mornings making way to warmer afternoons can only mean that Fall has arrived in Northern California. A common maintenance practice before Fall begins is the aerification of greens. Aerification removes plugs in the greens to allow air flow to the roots of the grass. This will eliminate any thatch build up in the greens which is detrimental to the longevity of the grass. Although aerification can be a golfer's nightmare, it is something that has to be done to improve the putting surface of the greens.

Cal can run the table and find themselves playing for a National Title, but they have to get by key games versus USC and at Washington. Speaking of USC, Stanford beat the #2 in the country for the biggest upset of the year – Go Cardinals!
